Palmasola
KLARA Theaterproduktionen
Palmasola tells the survival strategies, dreams and nightmares of the prisoners in the penitentiary of the same name. It examines the “regularities” of this “state within a state”, the fragility of what we believe is humanity against primary survival, almost animal survival of everyday life. The necessity and improvisation of a country’s justice such as Bolivia, that could be whatever’s in Latin America.
With the collaboration and complicity of Serveis Territorials de Justícia a Tarragona de la Generalitat de Catalunya.

Criticism
“Palmasola exposes us to an intense portrait of the city whose great quality isn’t showing a distant world on stage, but basically a model of society.”
